Oh my God, Hamas! III

January 30, 2006

Seems I’m at least for a small part already right on the Hamas issue. Yesterday they announced the willingness to declare a complete cease-fire with regards to Israel, as long as Israel retreats from the land they stole. They also announced not to recognize the state of Israel, but that’s good, as I think all countries in the world should not recognize EITHER Palestine or Israel until the conflict is resolved.

And secondly, Condoleessweufeu Rice is making a HUGE mistake, once again. She has asked all western nations to stop the financial aid to Palestine. Yeah right, you stupid waste of human meat, punish a people for legally electing a new government! What is this freedom thing you Americans always blabber on about? The US is a lot like Richard Stallman: only his way is true and free, and all other ways are not, and only his freedom is true freedom.

Look, by stopping financial aid, you are only going to breed more terrorists. How are you going to explain this to the Palestinian people? They legally elect a government, they voted for change, and now they’re punished for doing so!

Rice says:

The United States is not prepared to fund an organization that advocates the destruction of Israel, that advocates violence and that refuses its obligations.

Then maybe you can now spend that money on the poor people in your own country, ey Rice?

iMac G3

January 29, 2006

I did something really crazy today. I bought a 2nd-hand iMac G3 333Mhz. Been wanting one for a long time. Bondi Blue.

Federer

I’d like to congratulate Roger Federer with his 7th Grand Slam title, winning the Australian Open. The ceremony was very touching, and Federer was very emotional, because he got the cup from the hands of his great idol. Federer thanked Marcus Bakdatis, the qualifier who spiced up the entire tournament, and whom he beat in the final.

Great sports moment.

Oh my God, Hamas! II

After a few days, it has become clear to me that at this point in time, it is actually a good thing that Hamas has won the elections. There are two reasons why:

  1. Contrary to Fatah, Hamas is a strong, well-structured organization. Because Fatah is disorganized, unstructered, and basically one big corrupt party, it has never been able to put a stop to the terrorist attacks on Israel, since no one ever listened to them. If there is one organization who can, then it’s Hamas;
  2. Contrary to Fatah, Hamas has been able to feed people. To provide healthcare to the people. Education. THIS is what Palestinian people think about when they hear Hamas

Hamas is a terrorist organization. However, in what are they different than the Dutch resistance during the 2nd World War? The Dutch Resistance fought against an aggressive force which occupied their nation. Hamas is fighting against an aggreesive force which is occupying their nation. The Dutch resistance used bombs and assasinations. Hamas uses bombs and assasinations.

The Dutch resistance is somehow something sacred in my country; it has a magical sound to it. Yet Hamas is something more awful?

Look, I do not approve of their bombs and all that, but we should never forget what they are fighting for. They are fighting for THEIR land, which is ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED by an agressor.

It’s really weird… You know, I’m listening to the Beach Boys right now, and it’s kind of odd to realize that the Beach Boys are generally considered the best band of all time. And my current song. “Good Vibrations”, the best song ever made. That just sends chills down my spine.

Personally, I like it, and I see the technical excellence of the song, the lyrics and especially the vocals (just astonoshing). And that goes for their entire repertoire.

The ballad of Billy Jo McKay

A guiter. Shawn Mullins. Nothing more. Perfect harmony.

My name’s Billy Jo McKay,
I just turned 16 yesterday
I’m gonna get the nerve one day
To get outta here
My ma passed on 3 years ago, they said
It was cancer and it took her slow
And ever since then I’ve been
Sayin’ no to my daddy and my tears
Now when you come down our road
You gotta watch the bump
Right there across from
The garbage dump
You can find me out back
Jumpin’ on the trampoline
And in the springtime
We’ll be skippin’ school
We sneak off
To the Cantrell’s swimming pool
Man, you can’t get much cooler
Than me and my friend Darlene

Now my grandaddy’s hands are worn
From 50 years of growin’ corn
Back behind the house where
I was born before he had to sell
And my cousin Eddie,
He got shot in the Walmart parkin’ lot
Yeah this little town’s changed a lot,
He said it hurt like hell

My name’s Billy Jo McKay,
It’s a hot Mississippi summer saturday
Daddy’s on the front porch
With uncle Dave drinkin’ Dixie beer
16 years of being bored
My window’s open, forget the door
Hope there’s some gas in the
Old man’s Ford ‘cause I’m outta here
I’m outta here, I’m outta here
Maybe I’ll go down to Biloxi
Or maybe to New Orleans
Or maybe hotlanta

One of the many touching songs on “Soul’s Core”. What the fcuk are you doing here still? Get off of your white suburbian ass and buy that album.

Fake

These words are not mine. Let me assure each and every one of you that I am investigating as to what I can do to get this removed.

Here is the content of my original comment, before Kelly McNeil mangled it:

OSNews is transparent when it comes to who posted what. You can see who submitted an item, who put it up, etc. This Apple site does not show all that info. Also, you seem to be deleting a lot of comments, whereas OSNews doesn’t do that anymore, as they now use a moderation system.

I also recall how you, Kelly McNeil, abused, fcuked, and raped OSNews by making more than 20 accounts. So I fail to see how anyone could take a crazy lunatic like yourself seriously.

Lastly, why don’t you move your butt and write an article about this, comparing the last 50 newsitms on Apple, and give each a positive or negative? Then simply add them up and see how it REALLY stands. Now you are just cherrypicking the negative Apple items on OSNews. Doesn’t seem like a very fair method.

Then again, this site only has like 15000 pageviews a day. Big fcuking deal.

Oh my God, Hamas!

January 26, 2006

And so it happened that Hamas won the election in Palestine. A slight surprise, but seeing how well Hamas has done on especially the Gaza Strip in building schools, hospitals, etc.– then this is no surprise at all. This is the face of Hamas few people know. Besides the terrorist activities, Hamas is also a humanitarian organization, and deliveres food, healthcare and education to Palestinians where the Palestinian authorities have failed to do so (which is about everywhere).

Now, as some of you may know, I’m quite vocal about my support for the Palestinian case. The Israelis are illegally occupying the land of peaceful Palestinians, and has done so for decades. As such, I understand the existence of Hamas. Please remember that this does not mean I approve of Hamas’s terrorist activities.

Now, this is not a good thing for the region. With the almost-death of Sharon, and now the victory of Hamas, we are further away from peace and co-existance in Palestine than ever.

*A deep, long, sigh*

All hail the Queen

My government and lower house are working on/thinking about a law I wish to distantiate myself from.

My government, and even a majority of my lower house, is thinking about making the bourka forbidden. A bourka is the most extreme form of covering of the female body, mainly used by conservative Muslim women. It covers their entire body, even their face, arms, and legs. They want to prohibit it because “you never know what’s under it”, with which they mean bomb belts and such.

I am of the strong opinion that any man or woman in my country must be able to wear anything they like in public. A government should not, must not, interefere with this. I am sincerely shocked, and offended, that the government, and even the party I personally voted for, support this strong limitation of personal freedom; a proposition that borders, if not crosses, the line between freedom and fascism.

I sincerely cannot understand how for instance homosexuals wear the most outrageous clothing in my nation’s capitol; heck, they are even allowed to parade basically naked through Amsterdam’s canals once or twice a year, in a Gay Pride. Now, what is more dangeours to our children, a women wearing a towel over her face, or a bunch of fags prancing around naked? I’m sorry for my harsh words - I have no problems at all with homosexuals, I’m happy to live in a country where gay people are treated as equal to heterosexual people - but isn’t that the truth?

This newly proposed law (it is only in discussion, no one made a true proposition yet, but the majority of the lower house support it) is fascism at its best. I am allowed to wear whatever the fcuk I want, no government can interfere with that. If I want to shove a sock around my dick and wear a g-string on top of my head, I should be, and am, allowed to. Then why in the fcuk shouldn’t Muslim women be allowed to wear a towel around their face?

This proposed law is nothing more than yet another way to get votes from the dumb section of the Dutch people– not a small section I may add. It truly disturbes me that politicians are willing to fcuk over honest, normal Muslim people just to get votes. Why not take on those extremist Christians at the Veluwe, lower house? Where parents are LEGALLY KILLING CHILDREN because they do NOT inoculate their kids against deadly children’s diseases because “it intereferes with God’s plan for their kids”?

FCUK democracy– err, populism. That’s what this is. Pure populism. I say, back to the 19th century, only the wealthy and educated get to vote. All hail the Queen.

Of course that’s not the solution. Or is it…

Gmail

January 22, 2006

Can someone please explain why Gmail is such a hype? They say the interface is good– but I absolutely HATE the interface. I find it cluttered, and extremely difficult to use.

Well, actually I do know the answer why people love Gmail. It used to be exclusive. People love exclusive stuff.
