No one of the staff intervened
March 27, 2006Scandalous. Absolutely prepostrous. That’s what it is.
Last week, GeenStijl got its hands on a video made by a high school boy of three girls fighting in the hallway of school. The fight, which got pretty rough, went on for minutes, minutes, and minutes, yet NO ONE of the children, and NO ONE of the staff intervened. Now, that in itself is scandalous enough.
But what did the school do? The fcukers EXPELLED the videotaker off of the school. WHY? WHAT THE FCUK. The SCHOOL is at fault for NOT taking decent care of the children. It seems like teachers AGAIN fail to acknowledge THEY were wrong.
Me and my family have a lot of experience with teachers from various different schools due to my two brothers (none of your business, but my two brothers are… Problem children. To say it very, very, very midly). And if there’s one thing we concluded, it’s this: besides people who work for the government and politicians, teachers are the most idiotic and arrogant types of people on this planet.

Just like the US banning taking pictures of torture.
If there are no pictures, it never happened.
ps why don’t you just type “fuck” ?

Exactly, it’s remarkably similar indeed. The videotaker was just the messenger.
As for the fcuk… I started to use it ages ago, and now it’s a habit I can’t get rid of. Even if I want to type it normally, fcuk comes out.

It’s for when the US government demands all pages with ‘fuck’ in them get removed from Gooooooooooogle’s index.
/end paranoia mode

I suggest you write to the school’s principal and complain. If people won’t complain to them, they will never understand what they did wrong.

Eugenia, it got covered on GeenStijl.nl, one of the biggest websites in The Netherlands :).

It doesn’t really matter. Old teachers don’t care much about the web in this manner. They really get worked up only when they receive snail mail letters about stuff.

Wrong (however, you cannot know that). They have reacted to the clip and the coverage on the internet and TV news. They take no blame whatsoever.

I was disappointed that the video ended right before the 3 way make out session

LOL @ bdhippie!
I was really shocked to see this!!! I have never seen a fight like that to be honest. In my whole schoolcarreer, I have heared of only one fight that was supposed to take place in the schoolyard and it didn’t actually happen because the whole school knew about it including the concierges (who in that case DID do everything to prevent it from happening, like warning the police).
My boyfriend works at a school and last week he told me he had to take in a student’s phone and hand it over to the police because the kid had filmed the beating up of a teacher by a friend of his. This beating up teachers and filming it-thing turns out to be a trend happening more and more in schools in Holland these days. I really don’t understand why beating someone up would be fun, let alone filming it…
Leaves me with doubts; is the world going crazy or am I the only one that’s not able to laugh about these things?
