That’s a harmonica

April 5, 2006

I ordered this last night. Oh my. That’s a harmonica, a Tombo Tremolo 16 with Tremolo tuning and a key of C. It’s got a plastic comb; I got advised to buy a plastic one instead of a chromed or wooden one. Chrome dissolves in your mouth (can’t be healthy) and wood of course sucks up suliva, that ain’t fresh. A stainless steel one would’ve worked too, but I guess they are too expensive. This one cost me EUR 21,50.

I never cease to amaze myself.

  2. Ok, updated the link to your new weblog. And oh, btw, I didn’t know I played an instrument either… This is truly an impulse buy, we’ll see how it turns out :).

    See ya Thursday!

  3. congrats on learning the harmonica - my dad started learning when he was 50 and within a few years was playing the bars in a blues band … with the internet it is SO EASY to find stuff and instructions on how to play instruments - I’m just learning the bass guitar and instead of having to go and buy music books like I did for the violin when I was in high school I just download the tabs and scales to practice on….
    have fun
