That’s because something like this cannot be scientifically researched. It is all based on opinions.

However, ask any football lover which countries they think are most likely to have the refs on their sides. Their answers won’t stray much from what I said. Let me add that more often than not, The Netherlands, as a relatively big football nation (not anywhere near ITaly or something though) also benefites from this.

I dispute what you present as a fact. I don’t think it’s the case and you don’t give me any evidense to the contrary. Not even a link to a well-researched conspiracy theory article to munch on.

Eugenia, everybody knows the ‘big countries’, as well as the home-playing countries, have the refs on their hands. It’s no secret; see, for instance, the various dubious decisions favouring South Korea 4 years ago.

The FIFA part is speculation, of course, but that the ‘big’ footbal nations (Italy, Spain, Brasil, Argentina,etc) as well as the home playing countryes have the refs on their hands is a common known fact.

That’s just a conspiracy theory. Referees make mistakes too, as you very well know.
