Israel has broken the cease fire

August 20, 2006

And lo and behold, Israel has broken the cease fire. I thought it’d be Hezbollah who would break it, as they got little to lose. I never thought Israel’d be as stupid as to break it, with the whole world watching. Then again, it is not as if that world will ever hold Israel accountable for its actions.

And now we’ll see Hezbollah retaliating, Israel will claim Hezbollah broke the cease fire, and all the mindless Americans will believe it, and after four weeks, nobody will remember who started what.

“Israel defended Saturday’s operation, saying it was aimed at preventing the transfer of weapons from Iran and Syria to Hezbollah, an action barred by the resolution.”

Hezbollah getting new weapons violates the same exact resolution as Israel destoying the those same weapons.

It’s not like they had much of a choice.

The Lebanese army and the UN were failing to prevent the weapons transfer.

Hezbollah was probably just stalling for time.

Hezbollah: Oh you beat me. I give up. Just kidding.

We’ll see if they strike back.

There is hope for peace if they don’t, but if they do it’ll all just go to hell again. Even if they don’t get even now something will happen in a month or two.

To win all Hezbollah really has to do is survive. There is not much hope for Israel to win because they’ve already created even more people to hate them.

For Israel to win they have to kill all of the violent Hezbollah members and not create any new enemies.

    I don’t see that happening.
