This is the fault of the people who opened fire.
Mr. Bush has done a lot of bad things and should be thrown in jail, but this is not one of them.

If I give a loaded gun to two little boys playing cops and robbers, and the cop shoots the robber and dies, who is responsible? Me or the cop?

These aren’t children, these are adults.
They think power is theirs for the taking.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the analogy.

I had no idea what an analogy was. Thanks for pointing it out.
Welcome to the wonderful world of sarcasm.
The fact remain that you analogy is a flawed one.
I do love a good intellectual spar. I hope you don’t think worse of me for doing so. I still respect your opinion.
Maybe Bush is ultimately responsible for the majority share for starting this, but the coalition is not blameless.
I think president Bush ought to be impeached and sent to jail for all he can be proven responsible for in a court of law. The war he started, gitmo, Abu Ghraib, spying on US citizens, he’s pretty much nailed on the last one.
This also goes for those under him who can be proven guilty in a court of law.
But blaming everything on him is a little much. The Iraqi get the government they deserve, or maybe, what some of them want.
Peace might be able to be forced upon them by the US, the UN, or Saddam(ok not so peace with him) for a very short time, but only they can police themselves from the inside and say “Enough !” to those who want to kill instead of make peace.
America has a duty to see this through to the end and to try to make peace. We can just get rid of Saddam and say “ok you’re on your own start being a perfect democracy”
