I know...I had one!

On the other hand, the cougar does look nice, much better than the newer Peugeot models. I particularly dislike the look of the completely OVERSIZED grille apertures....

Just my 0.02 euros</description>

					<description>It's actually the other way around; &lt;i&gt;this&lt;/i&gt; Cougar first made its appearance in Europe under the Ford brand, after which it was sold as the Mercury Cougar in the US a year later.

Obviously, the Mercury Cougar has a long heritage which goes back to the '60s in the US.</description>

					<description>Since when has ford started branding mercury cars in europe?  The Cougar has been under the Mercury umbrella for some years.  They are nice cars, my uncle has one and he loves it.</description>
