Face reality
July 17, 2007I just want to say I’m in full support of Great Britain in this case. Russia fails to cooperate in a high-profile murder case, and will not supply Britain with the single and prime suspect. If Russia wants to be seen a serious, Western nation (as if, with Putin at the wheel), they better learn to cooperate in these cases.
Russia, you’re only a shadow of your former self during the USSR period - and let’s be honest, even back then you were a third world country. Face reality already.

Russia doesn’t want others to know that they were behind the murder anyway. This is why they don’t extradite the guy, there is no other logical explanation why they wouldn’t do so.

First, Russia cannot supply it’s own citizens to another country because Russian consitution disallows that. Next, Great Britain have denied requests for extradition of Achmed Zakaev and Boris Berezovsky for years. First is known terrorist leader and second is known for his money thief and laundering activity in 90’s.
