Hi,

I never went back to your blog, but as I'm now working on an assignment that involves various translations of Kruistocht in Spijkerbroek, I ran into it again. I finished my thesis with flying colours and if you'd like I could send you my translation. This, however, only involves the introductory chapter and the final chapter of the first book as my thesis also comprised a research into translating adolescent literature. I would love to translate the entire book (or series) when I finish my Master, but until then it's just these two chapters. If you send me your email address I'll send you the translation.

Roos, if you would be willing to share, I would love a (part) translation into english for a friend of mine.... I've read the dutch, and am really disappointed there's no english translation as my friend would love it.

Bedankt!

Nice summary. I'm actually translating part of the first boek in the series for my BA thesis and I ran into your blog as I was browsing the internet for some background info and other people's opinion on the book. If you have any thoughts, ideas or suggestions on what a translation should look like. I'm open to everything.

First, mentioning the name of the series (Kinderen van Moeder Aarde, Children of Mother Earth) would be helpful...

Second, I almost want to learn Dutch now.
