And another one. This is getting quite repetitive.

Yet another reason not to set foot on US soil. It’s simply too dangerous.

Sad, because I actually really like America. I can see myself doing Route 66.

  1. US has a population of 370+ million people, your country doesn’t. While there are some places that are dangerous, not the whole US is. In Silicon Valley for example, in the West/South Bay, almost nothing happens. People are rich enough here to not care to kill you for an iPod. Oakland on the hand, on the other side of the Bay, is more dangerous because it’s industrial and there are a lot of poor people there.

  2. Eugenia, OBVIOUSLY I’m taking the population differences into account if I were to compare the US to NL (which I’m actually not doing in this entry), I’m not retarded.

    The thing is, I don’t give a rat’s ass about the rich part of the US. It’s boring, with boring people. SF, LA, NY… Who cares. Just another city. The American countryside, the mountains, the great lakes, the south. That’s what makes the US beautiful.

  6. Well, you might like hanging around with computer nerds - but I don’t, especially not when I’m on vacation. Why would I want to see how a bunch of really rich people live, when I can see the real America? It’s like going to Amsterdam and claiming you know The Netherlands, even though Amsterdam has fcuk all to do with the real Netherlands.

    I’m wasting my time here.

  7. Just go to South Korea. Go to Seoul, crazy city, or end up in the mountains or some age-old Buddhist temple.
