Indie is important, as much as open source and Creative Commons are.

You got to be fucking kidding me. Talk about hubris.

The guy that praised “Armageddon” a few days ago, criticizes Carlifornication for lack of depth

Maybe it's because Armageddon doesnt pretend to be something it isn't?

This is hilarious! The guy that praised "Armageddon" a few days ago, criticizes Carlifornication for lack of depth. HAHA

"shallow, pointless, story-less, humourless, direction-less piece of unimaginative drivel." This describes "Armageddon" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120591/) exactly!

Even those words are kind to a film like "Armageddon"!

LoeZ, it's the damnedest thing: I was trying to think about the redeeming qualities, the most meaningful part of my first episode, and all I could come up with was a chick going down on someguy in a van. I remember the slurping sounds, see people, it's that attention to detail which makes this show truly great.

Indie is important
Yes, but there's a big difference between stuff that's marketed as being 'indie' and actual 'indie' stuff, whether it's movies, music, etc. Just like Hot Topic is 'underground' and not mainstream, but really it's as mainstream as it gets.

You might hate Californication but there are many that really enjoy the show. I'm one that looks forward to it each week. Oh well, to each their own

"All those people who get off on the word “indie”"

Indie is important, as much as open source and Creative Commons are. Californication is not indie btw. It's a Hollywood production.

Stop watching crap btw. There is absolutely not one TV series right now that's worth watching. I suggest you just retry Firefly, but make sure you view the episodes in order (starting with the 1.5 hours tele-movie), as the order they aired was not the right one and this made lots of viewers to not like the show. The right order can be found in Wikipedia.
