I've been in that same place once before... walking out that ancient door for the last time, looking back at that ancient brick building while the snow blew and quickly covered everything nearly a year ago... it was nice to leave, though it had its certain perks, mostly to have an old building that would sometimes inspire my creative side (I love to write, PS). I can't say the same about my colleagues all liking me, but my letter of resignation brought about a great deal of respect that I didn't always have from the second-in-command person.
