Green

I’m not a Green Day fan, but for some reason, those guys have a couple of songs that really stick with you.

One that I particularly like is “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)”. The simplicity of the sound is striking, and the lyrics are short, but quite powerful, and recognisable to just about anyone in one way or another.

  1. “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” is Green Day’s favorite for me. I like the band, as alternative rock is my main kind of music that I like.

  2. Are you joking? That’s one of the most insipid, cliched pieces of crap ever recorded. To quote from a top-10 list of the worst songs of all time (it made it to number 4, BTW):

If you graduated from high school, appeared in the cast of a TV show whose run was coming to an end, or went to a teenager’s funeral in the late 90s, I don’t have to explain how bad this song is. There are two kinds of people in this world: people who hate this song with all the passion their bones can muster, and complete fucking idiots.
