Caro Emerald
January 20, 2010I’m in love.
Seriously. What a great song, and blinky-blink, what a beautiful woman. If this doesn’t make you happy, then you might as well kill yourself now, because there’s just no pleasing you.
Class. She has it.

In absolute value it is a good song, but it’s not a genre I enjoy.

Not bad… but if you’d like similar things with slightly more attitude, check out Abby Travis. (And I’m not just saying that because I’ve got her signed photo with dedication to me :) )

Wow, thanks for this Thom. I immediately ran out and bought this song on iTunes. She’s fantastic. And Dutch too. :-)

I’ve always been a “big band” sorta guy. Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, Dinah Shore….
This piece is fun. It’s not like looking back upon the 40’s. It’s reliving it today. And the hot guy she’s after makes my knees weak. Or at least he would if he were in my age range. ;-)
